    Description

The White Witch dress, crown and wand. (2005) This ensemble represents the White Witch in all her evil glory. A long, stunning dress constructed of white gauze over velvet with silver threading throughout. With a lace-back bodice with additional snap enclosures, an integral ribbed corset, rigid rolled padding across the chest and padded short sleeves and a thick white tulle layered petticoat. The dress is approx. 72 in. long and is accompanied by a long white fur wrap of unidentified animal pelts. The Queen's "ice crown", features 12 cast resin ice crystals of varying lengths, with the longest measuring approx. 12 in. The crystals sit atop a wire cap wrapped with synthetic hair. The impressive wand is constructed of resin components, the grip features marbleized black paint with metallic filigree overlaid. With crystalline semi-transparent resin blades at either end, the wand measures approx. 46 in. long. The crown shows some repairs and the wand exhibits some material loss at the tips.
