The Marx Brothers rare early stage promotional photograph. (1928) Vintage original gelatin silver 7.25 x 9.25 in. (unevenly trimmed) single-weight glossy photograph by Harry Wanger. Retaining photographer's inkstamp, paper snipe, and date stamp on the verso. Depicting all four Marx Brothers-Groucho, Chico, Zeppo, and Harpo-prior to the advent of their movie careers, having arrived via train in Los Angeles for a February 1928 theatre engagement at the Metropolitan. Exhibiting some paint retouching for publication and general handling. In good condition.Auction Info
