    Tennessee Williams Owned Underwood Elliott Fisher Portable Typewriter. A portable typewriter once owned by the prolific writer born Thomas Lanier Williams III. Typewriter is encased in with a latch. Made by Underwood Elliott Fisher. Has green-colored protective covering over the typewriter itself. Case measures 5 ¾" x 11 ¾" x 12 ½". Keys and ribbon are intact and in Very Good Plus condition. But the case is in Good condition with considerable wear and tear, especially on the handle. Case has "S. Kunes" printed on a label near the latch. Comes with a first edition copy of The Kindness of Strangers: The Life of Tennessee Williams by Donald Spoto. 409 pages. Measures 6" x 9". In Very Good condition with a tear in the bottom left portion of the front cover. COA from Heritage Auctions.
