    Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Matte Painting of Teplan Homeworld For Episode "The Quickening" (Paramount TV, 1993-1999). Matte painting accomplished in mixed media on 120" x 72". Masonite flush with pine frame. Painted by Illusion Arts.

    This matte painting established a ruined city in the Teplan homeworld. Inhabitants on the planet suffer from a blight that covers their skin with welts and lesions and advanced medical technology only makes the blight worse. The entire transparent glass area is 61" x 15". For purposes of these photographs, a black cloth was placed behind the glass to clearly illustrate the opening for rear-projection.

    In Very Good Plus condition exhibiting expected production wear, minor scuffing, possible corner bumping and soiling. This lot requires third party shipping from Los Angeles, CA. COA from Heritage Auctions.
