Sammy Cahn and Jimmie Van Heusen's "Love and Marriage" Emmy Award. This Emmy Award for Best Musical Contribution was presented to Cahn and Van Heusen in 1955 in recognition of their song "Love and Marriage" from that year's television production of Our Town. The song was performed by Frank Sinatra, who went on to have a major chart hit with it; that version was later used as the theme song for the popular FOX sitcom Married... With Children. The award stands 15" high and the base measures 7.5" in diameter. It is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with some small areas of wear and slight looseness where the statuette meets the base.
