(United Artists, 1926) Black bolero vest heavily decorated with gold metal bullion and ribbon with five frogs across front and lined in black. Western Costume Co. Los Angeles label and white "Western Costume Co. 63" stamp. Exhibits overall wear and minor discoloration especially around arms and neckline. Two and half inch section detached along seam under arms. Majority of the gold bullion trim around back arms and shoulders is missing. Worn by Rudolph Valentino as "Ahmed the Sheik" when he meets Vilma Banky at the Ruins and is ambushed in The Son of the Sheik. Significant piece of film history worn by the world's first and greatest silent screen lover in his last film role.
