Roy Scheider "Chief Martin Brody" eyeglasses from Jaws. (Universal, 1975) Vintage original chrome silver metal aviators glasses with beveled eye frame and double nose bridge. Prescription lenses and "Captain" imprinted on the inner right stem and "REM" on the left. Black plastic temple tips. The glasses measure 6 x 5.5 in. As much a part of the stalwart "Chief Brody" character as his police uniform and badge, these iconic glasses are visible worn by Roy Scheider throughout Steven Spielberg's breakout feature. Exhibiting age, production wear and some mild tarnish to areas. In vintage very good to fine condition. From the collection of property master Frank Nifong and comes with a signed letter of provenance from the family.
