    Description

    Anne Revere Rare Interview Recording ca. the late 1950s. A vintage reel-to-reel tape featuring a 15-minute interview with the acclaimed actress, who received Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actress for The Song of Bernadette (1943) and Gentlemen's Agreement (1947), and who won said award for National Velvet (1944). Revere resigned from the Screen Actors Guild in 1951 after refusing to testify before HUAC, and as a result did not appear again in film until 1970, spending the intervening time working in live theater. The tape is in Excellent condition and is accompanied by a CD copy of the interview.
