WarGames (MGM 1983), John Wood "Dr. Steven Falken" 7-Ft. Pterodactyl Glider. Original pterodactyl glider including (2) painted Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) wings, (1) fiberglass body, (1) swiveling fiberglass head, (3) left polyurethane "fingers" (1) polyurethane "leg" with lightweight internal electronics array. Expertly studio painted in green and brown tones, glider measures approx. 122" x 60" x 7". This pterodactyl prop appears in a memorable scene when Matthew Broderick's young computer genius character David Lightman visits Dr. Steven Falken (John Wood) to convince him that the artificial intelligence the scientist created is dead set on destroying the world in a global thermonuclear war. Prop has no propulsion system but was "winched" to height and steered via R/C control. Exhibits production use, aging, paint loss and cracking on wings which reveal orange paint and foam underneath. Missing left foot and right fingers, radio control box, missing body access panel covers a 6" x 4" opening on top. Electronics untested. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Obtained from ISS. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
