Description

True Confessions (UA, 1981), Robert Duvall "Detective Tom Spellacy" Prop Revolver and Handcuffs. Original group of (10) props including (1) prop .38 caliber snub-nose double-action revolver, (1) Bianchi leather holster with snap closure, (1) pair of U.S.A. steel handcuffs, (1) leather handcuff holster, and (6) "dummy" rounds contained in an ammo pouch. Also includes a brass plate that reads, "ROBERT DUVALL / 'TRUE CONFESSIONS' / PERSONAL PROPS". Items range in size from 7" x 4.5" to 3.25" x 3". These items are carried by Detective Tom Spellacy (Robert Duvall) in a film loosely inspired by the Black Dahlia case. Spellacy uses this sidearm throughout his investigation, which leads to a larger conspiracy involving his brother Des (Robert De Niro), a monsignor in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. Items exhibit production wear and age, including handling wear. Special shipping arrangements via a federal firearms licensed dealer will apply. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
