The Jackie Gleason Special (CBS TV, 1973), "Don the Plumber" Oversized Toolbox and Prop Tools. Vintage original (10) piece hand prop consisting of (1) oversized gray wooden toolbox with hand-painted "ACE PLUMBING" in black lettering to each side, containing (1) bronze-colored long-spout watering can, (1) toilet brush, (2) wooden prop mallets, (2) bottles of "Dippity Do Cleaner", (1) 10" long flat top bolt, (1) wooden faux carpenter's file, and (1) wooden faux chisel, as seen in the 1973 Jackie Gleason Special during a scene reprising a quintessential Honeymooners scenario for a skit called "Women's Lib", in which Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) and Ed Norton (Art Carney) have an argument with their wives Alice (Shelia McRae) and Trixie (Jane Kean) about the roles of men and women in 1970s America. An uncredited plumber visits the apartment while Kramden and Norton are dressed up in wigs and aprons after their wives storm off to live together upstairs. Toolbox measures 16" x 13.5" x 11" with longest tool measuring 28" and shortest measuring 10" with signs of production use and wear throughout. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
