Description

The Goonies (Warner Bros., 1985), Collection of (11) One-Eyed Willy's Treasure Pieces. Original group of production-used prop treasure pieces discovered by the Goonies while aboard The Inferno, One-Eyed Willy's pirate ship, before their haul is stolen by the Fratellis in a climatic scene of the beloved adventure movie. Treasure pieces include (5) Spanish style metal "Doubloon" coins, finished in gold-colored paint (4) stamped metal "ingot" pieces, (1) long, thin gold-painted stone, and (1) piece of threaded faux pearls. The coins and doubloons are detailed with period-specific markings indicating the level of detail that went into the prop-making for this production. Pieces range in size from 1" x 1" to 6.5" x 1.5". All pieces exhibit wear from production handling and age. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
