    Description

Terminator 2: Judgement Day Prop Endoskeleton Arm. A huge box-office and critical success upon its release in 1991, the sequel to the 1984 cult science fiction classic The Terminator gave a significant boost to director James Cameron's already impressive career. T2's visual effects include many breakthroughs in computer-generated imagery and use of motion-capture, and it won Academy Awards for makeup, sound mixing, sound editing, and visual effects. This life-size prop endoskeleton arm was created by Stan Winston Studios for use in T2, though it is unknown if it was ultimately used in the movie. The heavy steel and chrome appendage is almost fully articulated and highly detailed. It is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with some stiffened joints (it happens to the best of us) and it is accompanied by an LOA from special effects expert Len E. Burge II, who worked on the design and construction of endoskeleton props for the movie, as well as a color 8" x 10" photo of Burge with the prop.
