Tam White "MacGregor" Hero Screen Matched Shield from the Battle of Stirling in Braveheart (Paramount, 1995). Original shield used in the Battle of Stirling scenes with screen matched battle damage. Crafted of wood with leather straps mounted on the rear where "Tam" is marked in two areas, with a strip of tape from production marked "MacGregour [sic] Stirling". Braveheart won the 1996 Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Cinematography. Measuring 24" in diameter x 2.5". Exhibiting production distress and handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
