Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal), Hero Knife from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Season 2). Original Hero Gerber Icon knife featuring a tanto-style blade, partially serrated edge, aluminum handle with a textured inlay and matte black finish, and internal liner blade lock, measuring 9.5" x 1.5" open and 5.5" x 1.5" closed. The tip, edge, and serrations have been studio-altered and ground down for performer safety with additional studio-distressing including faux blood and grime across the handle and frame. The internal liner lock has been modified so that the blade cannot lock open. Carried by Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) throughout Season 2, the knife is featured prominently in Episode 10, "18 Miles Out," when the former police officer finds himself trapped in a bus surrounded by Walkers after a physical confrontation with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). With no visible way out and with Walkers banging on the doors of the bus, Shane cuts his hand with his pocketknife and smears the blood on the door frame to distract the Walkers long enough for him to take them out one by one. Exhibits general production age and wear. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
