Ray Park "Darth Maul" Hero Double Bladed Lightsaber from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (TCF, 1999). This "Darth Maul" signature double bladed lightsaber is instantly recognizable as the unique weapon of choice used by the Sith villain. This particular lightsaber was crafted for close ups to show the finer detailing of the weapon, including protruding red activator buttons that run along the length of the hilt, while being energized with both blades extended. The hilt (main body) of the weapon is cast in resin with a long section of metal "all thread" rod running through the body and protruding from each end.

The "all thread" was used to attach each of the two 33.75" aluminum rods (secured with allen screws), or blades, expertly coated in fluorescent orange to represent its distinctive plasma blades. The hilt is painted a metallic silver with black line-detailing, three black rubber O-rings and four static red activator buttons. Each end cap is machined from aluminum. The hilt measures 28.5" long (with protruding "all thread") and a full 88.5" long with both blades
installed. This piece exhibits a few minor scuffs and production wear to paint. COA from Heritage Auctions.
