PL!NKO Prize Board from The Price Is Right (CBS TV, 1972-). This large, distinctive PLINKO prize board features the game name in large red serif letters, outlined in turquoise blue, painted on yellow-gold horizontal slats that, with the pull of a handle on the back of this unit, changes to "$50,000" in gold glitter numerals, outlined in turquoise-blue on a red background. With fuchsia, turquoise, and red. The unit sits on a rolling base. Handwritten notations in black on the reverse list the (presumable) dates the game was employed on the show. PL!NKO debuted in January 1983 and quickly became one of the most popular pricing games on the program. Measures 81 in. tall x 84 1/2 in. long x 31 in. deep. Acquired from Fremantle Media after the prize board was retired in April of 2009. Exhibits general wear commensurate with its age and extensive production use, some paint loss, glitter loss, but remains in Very Good condition.
