Original Oil Painting of Alex Trebek from Wheel of Fortune (CBS TV, 1983-). An original oil painting on canvas of Alex Trebek circa 1980s in a fine representation by artist, Frank Tauriello. Mr. Trebek was of course the well-known host of Jeopardy!, but he also was the host of Wheel of Fortune on eleven occasions. This oil portrait was displayed as an example of a custom portrait prize the contestants could win during a shopping round on the game show. Both game shows were produced by the same company Signed by the artist at the lower left and housed in an ornate gilt wood frame with linen mat. The painting measures 20 1/2 in. x 24 1/2 in. with overall framed dimensions of 28 in. x 32 in. Some wood loss at the upper left frame corner, otherwise remains in very good condition overall.
