Nicholas Hoult "Beast" Creature Suit Display from X-Men: First Class (TCM, 2011). Original life-size mutant superhero figure constructed of screen worn cast foam latex components, slip cast hard rubber elements, hand-applied and punched blue fox fur, cast acrylic teeth, finger, and toenail claws, and prosthetic grade false eyes. Expertly assembled, painted, and finished to appear as a complete "Beast" character in a feral pose. The base of the creature suit is a foam-padded muscle suit with zipper, Velcro and snaps at the shoulder for attaching separate arms. With matching bib/suspender pants with sculptural muscles and, a pair of creature arms, slip-on feet, and hand gloves. The creature's removable face peels from the form like a mask and is held to the mannequin by magnets, which saved countless production hours of makeup time. Dressed in signature character fabric costume of foam-padded, zippered yellow and blue/gray tunic, and multi-zippered athletic shorts created for display. The impressive figure measures 39" x 26" x 67" set upon a 40" x 27" x 5" wooden base. Designed by Academy Award-winning special effects group Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. (ADI). Exhibiting minor wear and handling. In Very Good to Fine condition.
