Map of Winterfell from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 8). Original hand-painted, translucent, coated fabric map of Winterfell and its surrounding lands. Measures 84" x 87.5". In Season 8, Episode 2, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," this map is used at Winterfell to strategize against the Army of the Dead as Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and his allies plan to fight the Night King's (Vladimir Furdik) forces. Notably, 19 of the 22 principal cast members, including all the surviving Stark children, appear in this episode and strategy session, marking the first time all four remaining Stark children share scenes together. The famous opening sequence is altered to incorporate the allies' plans. Episode writer Bryan Cogman noted that while the six-episode final season was expected to be action-packed, the producers felt it was important to slow down and savor the ensemble cast. This episode and planning scene serve as a love letter to the characters, providing a calm-before-the-storm moment before Episode 3. Exhibits production wear and light distressing including wax residue. There is a small tear at the center bottom. Comes with a COA from HBO and Heritage Auctions.
