Kenneth Strickfaden "QUCH" Machine. Once, during the shooting of MGM's The Mask of Fu Manchu in 1932, Boris Karloff -- as Fu -- refused to perform a stunt near electricity, fearing it was too dangerous. Kenneth Strickfaden, who'd provided the on-set machinery, dressed up as Fu, stood in for Karloff -- and got a shock that sent him flying! This "QUCH" machine looks capable of sending such a potent shock and comes from the Strickfaden stockpile of electrical prop paraphernalia. Excellent condition. Requires third party shipping.
