Description
Hellboy (Columbia, 2004), Ladislav Beran "Kroenen" Screen Used Trio of Action Tonfa Swords. These (3) tonfa swords were wielded in combat by the formidable masked assassin Karl Ruprecht Kroenen (Ladislav Beran), a former Nazi officer and master swordsman. Designed with side-mounted handles for Kroenen's signature fighting style, these swords were crafted for action sequences, ensuring safety during intense combat scenes. Each dense rubber blade is reinforced with an internal metal armature for added rigidity. Each blade is labeled on both sides in Germanic script "Alles für Deutschland" (All for Germany), a chilling nod to Kroenen's sinister allegiance. The molded rubber handles, measuring 5", are mounted perpendicular to the blade (the blades of two swords measure 18.25"; the third measures 28.25"). Each sword exhibits studio repairs and reinforcement at the handle mounting points. Along with general scuffing of paint finish on blades and handles; one 18.25" sword is missing an "Alles für Deutschland" label on one side. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
