Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Hero Crossbow from The Walking Dead (AMC 2010-2022, Seasons 1-3). Original Hero Horton Scout HD crossbow featuring a REALTREE "hardwoods" camo pattern, electronic x1 power red dot, safety selector switch marked "FIRE / SAFE" and Dial-A-Rang dial on both sides of the frame, metal stirrup, attached polymer bolt quiver, and an adjustable padded nylon shoulder strap with REALTREE camo pattern and 2-metal sling mounts, measuring 34" x 25" x 8". Crossbow is marked "SERIAL NUMBER CG010236" on the front-right of the foregrip. Also included are (3) black carbon fiber bolts measuring between 19" and 21" with synthetic rubber fletching and faux arrowheads constructed of wrapped gray duct tape. Carried throughout Seasons 1, 2, and 3 by Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), this signature weapon makes its series debut alongside the rough and tumble protagonist in Season 1, Episode 3, "Tell It to the Frogs," when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors stumble upon a deer being eaten that Daryl tracked for miles. Always by his side and used with lethal efficiency, Daryl eventually abandons the Horton crossbow in Season 3, Episode 13, "Arrow on the Doorpost," in favor of a Stryker Strykezone 380 Crossbow that Rick Grimes obtained for him from Morgan Jones' (Lennie James) stockpile of weapons. All components display general production age and wear, including heavy studio distressing with black paint splotching to cover manufacture's brandings, and 1-of the bolts having loose fletching. Internal mechanisms and electronics remain untested. Comes with a COA from AMC and Heritage Auctions.
