Description
Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) Dragon Egg from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 1). Rare original first version dragon egg with scale texture constructed of translucent green resin laid over a yellow, brown, and green metallic center, giving the illusion of internal warmth. Measures 15" x 18" in circumference. This one-of-a-kind dragon egg, characterized by its unique design and vivid colors, was meticulously hand-crafted during the production of Season 1. Prop maker Gavin Jones explained, "We wanted the eggs to look as if they held a latent, magical energy, hence the translucent quality." The final eggs seen on screen have a more opaque appearance with duller hues, making their debut in Season 1, Episode 1, "Winter is Coming," as wedding gifts commemorating the union of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa).
