County General Hospital Operating Room Set Walls, Glass Entry Doors and Set Decoration from ER (NBC TV, 1994-2009). An important grouping of set elements from the long-running and multiple Emmy Award-winning hospital drama, ER. The pieces include: (1) a pair of double-sided operating room set walls covered with painted plastic tile, (2) a pair of stainless steel window frames with fixed caged glass, one square and one rectangular, (3) a pair of large rectangular stainless steel window frames with tilt-out caged glass, measuring 65" x 42.5". (4) the left and right operating room glass doors with applied vinyl letters that read, ""Admittance Restricted - Authorized Personnel Only," "Caution - Surgical Clean Area", and featuring stainless steel details and yellow acrylic bumpers. (5) A large rolling gurney of stainless steel. (6) An IV drip bag on a rolling stainless steel rack measuring 72 in. tall. (7) A stainless steel waste basket, (8) a prop resin sign marked "stairs" and (9) a plastic wall-mount biohazard box. (10) A large grouping of set dressing including a pillow sham, bed sheet, and light green blanket, two boxes of exam gloves in metal wire wall brackets, and Mitel phone. This material was used on various seasons of the production and was part of the final set that was retired at the conclusion of Season 15. Acquired from Mr. Steven Spielberg & John Wells from Amblin Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Corporate Archives. The set walls measure approximately 94 in. x 87 in. wide x 8 in. deep, the doors measure 83 in. tall x 36 in. wide x 2 in. deep, The items exhibit general signs of wear commensurate with age, construction, and extensive production use, but remain in Good to Very Good condition.
