Description

Chinga Doll from The X-Files (FOX TV, 1993-2018). Victorian-style doll featuring extensive studio distress with stained and abraded limbs, the garments are tattered, stained and partially singed, the head has been scuffed and uniformly colored to appear burned, the hair partially singed, and the right leg and foot are missing. This doll was the key plot point for The X-Files Season 5 episode, "Chinga". In the episode, the doll was empowered with witchcraft and, after its discovery by a local fisherman, forced four characters to kill themselves by violent methods. Its gruesome killing spree was ended when it was burned in a microwave by Gillian Anderson "Agent Dana Scully". It measures 22 1/2 in. long x 11 1/4 in. wide. The doll gives off a very eerie presence and remains one of the creepier episodes of this iconic series. Exhibits studio distress as described, but remains in Good screen-used condition overall. Acquired from Fox Television.
