Description

Ben-Hur (MGM, 1959), Chariot Wheel. Vintage original wooden wheel with a flat steel tire trimming the rim, carved wooden spokes, and white painted frame. Measures approx. 36" in diameter. This is one of the wheels on the multi-colored chariots in the iconic scene where Judah Ben-Hur (Charlton Heston) finally agrees to race and wins. Displays wear and age. Parts of the wooden spokes are broken and the paint has faded throughout. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
