Description

Beetlejuice (Warner Bros., 1988), Sandworm Prop. Original carved foam sandworm prop consisting of black and white painted segments, a small shark fin, red-painted eyes, and a green set of lips, measuring approximately 16" x 4" x 8.5". This memorable prop appears when Barbara and Adam Maitland (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) first travel to the underworld and encounter this distinctive, stop-motion beast. The sandworm features a hollow center, likely allowing it to be mounted and moved during its first appearance. Exhibits fading to the paint, cracking of foam components, adhesive loss, and light staining. The mouth appears to have been sealed shut. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
