Battle-Damaged Greg Jein Corvette Transport Wreckage from Starship Troopers (Touchstone, 1997). Original battle-damaged front portion of a Corvette Transport model miniature constructed of resin-coated rigid polyfoam, cast resin elements, metal, wood, and mixed-media components. With decal badging designating the ship the "Greg Jein" after the legendary modelmaker. The Greg Jein was in service during the First Bug War where it was present during the Battle of Klendathu. Expertly assembled, painted in industrial steel blue and finished to look like the front of a ship that has had its hull shredded away, with metal wire, cable and substructure exposed through the jagged opening. The hyper-realistic spaceship model measures 35" x 20" x 12" and exhibits production use, paint rubbing, and intentional studio distress. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
