Description
Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Batmobile Static Illuminating "Bat Phone". Vintage original static Bat Phone set piece constructed of a cast resin sculptural shell with wooden plug bottom and traditional spiral phone cord. The entire construction is expertly studio painted red. With screw heads visible around the base perimeter where they've been drilled to affix to the interior wooden plug which was set in the center console of the iconic Batmobile. The integral receiver takes the familiar shape of a bat. Original internal wiring and light bulbs are present (electronics untested). Measures 9" x 6" x 5". Exhibiting age, production wear with staining and scuffing to paint surface. Provenance: Heritage Auctions "The Collection of Greg Jein", Oct. 14-15th, 2023, Lot #89085.
