Description

Batman (TCF TV, 1966-1968), Adam West "Batman" Hero Bat Radio. Vintage original bat-themed radio prop constructed of wood, metal, acrylic and mixed-media components all expertly assembled, painted, and finished with black and red paint. The base of the radio is carved wood embellished with a translucent screen, metal speaker grill, 2-metal antennae, and curved metal handle. The back metal plate (screws no longer present) has an affixed audio jack covering the empty cavity of the 6.5" x 5" x 1" prop. Missing metal screw-in knob below screen. Exhibits age, production wear, flaking and scratching to paint finish with oxidation to metal parts. Provenance: Heritage Auctions, "The Greg Jein Collection", October 12-13, 2023 Lot #89086.
