Description

Alien (TCF, 1979), Ian Holm, "Ash" Hyperdyne Systems 120-A/2 Android Head Used in the Decapitation Sequence. Original Android head consisting of latex, rubber, and fabric, set on a substructure of polyurethane foam with a supporting inner armature made of plastic and nylon straps to secure the dangling head. Measures approx. 13.25" x 9" x 9". Ash (Ian Holm), the Hyperdyne Systems 120-A2 Android aboard the Nostromo, serves as the ship's science officer. When the crew discovers his true mission-to protect the Xenomorph and ensure its capture for the company-they are forced to subdue him, resulting in his decapitation. Exhibits production wear with trimmed material around the neckline, aging materials hardening and splitting over time, minor loss to the finish, glue residue on the interior cowl, and tape residue on the scalp from removed wig. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
