Description

A 'Vogon' Large Animatronic Face Mask from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Buena Vista, 2005. Created by the celebrated 'Jim Henson's Creature Shop' in London, in the form of a massive ugly face, made of foam latex, greenish colored, somewhat full white hair on either side of head and a wispy white mustache, black felt-tip ink annotation on inside of mask/head reads "Lord Wilkon" [this particular 'Vogon's' name], used on screen as evidenced by the extensive mechanical apparatus inside the head cavity which allowed the creature to be animated; housed in its own custom-made foam-lined container which has a sticker on the outside noting the film's title, the character's name (though it incorrectly reads "The Duke of Darwin"), and the place that made it; from the whimsical film (based on the cult sci-fi books by Douglas Adams) starring Martin Freeman, Mos Def, Sam Rockwell, and Zooey Deschanel.
    Mask: 30" x 17" x 15"; Case: 32" x 23" x 20"
