    Description

    A Door Knob from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Made of brass, of smallish size; used on the front door of Tara during production; included is a DVD showing grainy footage of a man named 'Bill Johnson' removing this door knob from the actual set in Culver City, probably sometime in the early 1940s based on his clothing style; knob obtained directly from Johnson's widow. (Please note there is normal patina on this piece.)
