Description

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (TCF, 1977). Rolled, Very Fine/Near Mint. American Marketing Association Convention Poster (18" x 23"). Robert Watts Artwork. An extremely small quantity of these posters were produced by 20th Century Fox to promote executive Marc Pever's speech at the American Marketing Association convention on September 22, 1977. Only available to attendees of the trade show on that day and featuring spectacular Robert Watts' artwork of the cast and key spaceships from the film, this has long been considered one of the scarcest and most sought-after of all Star Wars posters. It is also one of the few posters from the era to feature the original "pointy W" title treatment. The poster exhibits minor wear and a slight waviness from rolled storage, but is otherwise in great condition.
