Country Bear Jamboree Attraction Entrance Poster (Walt Disney, ca.1970s-1980s). Vintage original lithographic poster print featuring the iconic and whimsical musical bear theatre and reading "Country Bear Jamboree" in a gold banner across the top of the poster, and "The Wildest Show In The Wilderness" across the bottom. Measures 54" x 26". The Country Bear Jamboree opened at Walt Disney World in 1972, its ursine musicians entertaining audiences at three Disney Theme Parks for more than 50 years. During that memorable time, posters of this style promoted the original edition of the "wildest show in the wilderness" performed from Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. For the new Country Bear Jamboree show, original artwork was prepared by the team of Marc Davis, Jim Michaelson, and Eddie Martinez, and the final poster design is outstandingly among those printed using the all-new four-color lithographic process that ultimately replaced silk screening at the WED Print Shop. Exhibits general handling wear and age with creasing along the body of the poster, a .75" tear along the top left border, and a 3.5" tear along the middle of the bottom border. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
