Batman: The Movie (TCF, 1966), Group of Original Lobby Cards. Vintage original group of (8) 14" x 11" lobby cards from the 1966 theatrical release of Batman, the feature-length version of the beloved television show that helped introduce the Caped Crusader to a new generation, featuring the Dynamic Duo as well as many of the Rogues Gallery favorites in different settings and scenes from the film, with each lobby card numbered 1 through 8 and production stamped "66/281" to lower righthand corners. Lobby cards feature the taglines "All New! Never Before Seen On TV!" and "For The First Time On The Motion Picture Screen" in bold red lettering, with title of movie in bold purple type to lower left corner. Scenes featured on the lobby card include Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) in the Batcave; Catwoman (Lee Meriwether) with her pet cat Isis; the Rogues Gallery including Penguin (Burgess Meredith), Riddler (Frank Gorshin), Catwoman (Meriwether), and Joker (Cesar Romero) in an array of poses; and various other favorite scenes from the film including the Batcopter and Batboat. Cards are unframed and well-preserved, exhibiting some signs of wear and age including mild edgewear and corner bumps, otherwise with colors presenting brightly throughout.
