DescriptionAbbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (Universal International, 1948). Folded, Fine-. Trimmed Window Cards (2) (14" X 16.5" & 14" X 14"). In one masterful stroke, Universal teamed their best horror/sci-fi icons with their two reigning funnymen. Posters from the A&C horror series are avidly sought by both horror and comedy fans, and the window card format is one of the hardest to find. It has images of Bela Lugosi as "Dracula," Lon Chaney Jr. as "The Wolf Man," Glenn Strange as "Frankenstein's Monster," and of course, Abbott and Costello! One poster has its top border trimmed and the other has both is top and bottom borders trimmed. Both posters have toning, creasing, tears, and staining. The smaller sized poster also has pinholes, smudging, and some surface paper loss.
