Set of (2) Production Photographs from the Fritz Lang Classic Sci-Fi Film Metropolis (UFA, 1927). Vintage original (2) production photographs both printed on double-weight glossy paper. Including (1) 10.5" x 9.5" photo of Brigitte Helm as "False Maria" stirring up chaos among the workers and (1) 11.5" x 9.5" of the iconic "clockworks" and dour workers underground. Both photos feature the UFA studio logo in the lower right or left corner. Both photos exhibit age, handling and wear. Larger photo exhibits pinholes in corners, rust marks in borders, corner paper loss and a .5" tear in the upper right travelling .25" into image. Smaller photo exhibits bent corners and edge wear but retains studio and National Film Archive inkstamps. In general vintage Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
