    Sammy Davis Jr. Picture Lot from Photographer Irv Steinberg. Sammy Davis Jr. at his dynamic prime, as fluidly captured by celebrity photographer Irv Steinberg in New York City in the 1960s and 1970s. Eighteen proof sheets and hundreds of pictures, showing Sammy at the 1964 "Discotheque for LBJ" at El Morocco, the 1964 opening night party for Sammy's Broadway show Golden Boy, his 1964 Rainbow Room birthday party, receiving the Friars 1966 "Man of the Year' Award, appearing at 1965 Carnegie Hall benefit honoring Louis Armstrong, Sammy's 1970 Copa opening, visiting Liza Minnelli backstage after her performance in Chicago in 1975 -- along with such pals and cronies as May Britt (his wife at the time), Robert F. Kennedy, Julie Andrews, Johnny Carson, Sidney Poitier, Robert Mitchum, Carol Channing, Milton Berle, Tammy Grimes, Adam Clayton Powell, Connie Francis, Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gorme and more. Additionally there are 12 snapshots, with Peter Lawford, Diahann Carroll, Johnny Ray, Johnny Carson, and a few Playboy Bunnies. Very Good to Excellent condition.
