Ringo Starr Group of Candid Photos from the Wrap Party for The Magic Christian (Grand Films Ltd., 1969). Vintage original group of (16) candid photos featuring Ringo Starr in a dark jacket and purple turtleneck, taken at the wrap party in the Bahamas for The Magic Christian (1969), along with additional shots of cast and crew, including Peter Sellers. Printed on "Royaltone Photo Service" paper, the lot also includes duplicated wallet-size versions of the same images. Also included are (14) 3.5" x 3.5" photos of Starr posing with Terry Southern and his son Nile on a Bahamian beach after filming wrapped, each with a Kodacolor June 1969 date stamp on the verso. The lot includes (2) silver gelatin photos of Starr dated May 1969 on the recto, and (4) shots of Sellers and director Joe McGrath aboard the Queen Mary, photographing a cityscape. Photos exhibit fading and wear from age, including bumped corners and minor stains. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of Terry Southern.
