Vintage gelatin silver glossy 10" x 8" press photograph of Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio deboarding a Pan American B-377 Stratocruiser at Haneda Airport, Tokyo, for honeymoon stay at the Imperial Hotel, February 1, 1954. The newlyweds would arrive at the hotel at 10 p.m. after six hours of waving to the trampling crowds from their open convertible. During their visit, Monroe was given a pearl necklace with a diamond clasp from Emperor Hirohito and Empress Kojun. From the Joe DiMaggio Collection.
