Vintage gelatin silver glossy double-weight 14" x 11" custom photograph of Louise Brooks for Ziegfeld Follies of 1925 by G.Y. (George Yasuji) Nishiyama New York, with Credit / Nishiyama / Hotel Pennsylvania / New York wet stamp on the verso. Brooks was a featured dancer in "Ziegfeld Follies of 1925" and in "Louie the 14th"(Ziegfeld Cosmopolitan Theater, March 3 - December 5, 1925), when the press began to take favorable notice of her. Walter Wanger, an executive at Paramount she was seeing socially, advised her to accept the offer from MGM instead of Paramount. She chose Paramount.
