    Description

King Kong (1976) Production Photos with Blueprints. Includes a binder containing dozens of color 8" x 10" photos of the 1976 remake's World Trade Center set, with handwritten notes on several, and three b&w photos of the scale-model WTC set with miniature Kong visible. The photos are accompanied by three full-size blueprints for exteriors of the Empire State Building. By the time the '76 version went into production, the Empire State Building had been surpassed in height by the (then) recently constructed WTC, and the latter was used in the movie. The photos are in Very Fine condition, and the blueprints are in Fine with some wear and tearing. From the Christopher Collection of Vintage Hollywood Memorabilia.
