Kennedy Family Photo Archive by Irv Steinberg. Celebrity photographer Irv Steinberg naturally pursued the Kennedy family with his camera, determined to capture on film the descendants and remnants of the Camelot legacy. This archive presents 33 proof pages and two packets of color slides from the Steinberg files, with some riveting and ultra-rare images: Senator Robert Kennedy at the Judy Holliday Memorial (May 15, 1966), at the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and ice-skating with wife Ethel at Rockefeller Plaza; Jackie Kennedy (Onassis) at the Metropolitan Opera House, and at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Tennis Tournament in Forest Hills, with John Kennedy Jr., Caroline Kennedy, Ethel Kennedy and more; Rose Kennedy on The Merv Griffin Show, mid-1960s; Ethel Kennedy at Neil Diamond's Broadway debut (1972), and hosting a party at the Rainbow Room; much more. Included in the shots are such celebrities as Judy Garland, Leonard Bernstein, Lauren Bacall, Burt Bacharach, and O.J. Simpson. All in all a nostalgic and compelling look at the Kennedy dynasty and its satellites, captured by an adventurous and unstoppable photographer. Very Good to Excellent condition.
