    Jean Fenwick and Vivienne Osborne Portraits by Bull and Hurrell, set of 12. Clarence Bull and George Hurrell were very likely the greatest portrait photographers of Golden Age Hollywood. This lot features six 11" x 14" portraits by Bull of Jean Fenwick, actress and sister of Marian Marsh made memorable as the villainess of Arrest Bulldog Drummond (1939); and six portraits by Hurrell of actress Vivienne Osborne, who played in such films as Supernatural (1933) and Dragonwyck (1946). All have the respective photographer's stamp en verso and the Fenwick group also contains two 8" x 10" portraits of the actress, one with Bull's stamp en verso. Some minor surface wear and border stains, otherwise in Very Fine condition.
