    Description

George Barris Voxmobile Photos. Vox musical instruments approached George Barris in the '60s about building them a custom roadster that would function both as a car and as a mobile amplifier, designed to be used for promotional purposes. The result was the Voxmobile, a vehicle with a Vox guitar silhouette that served as a functioning amp that could support up to 32 guitars, and also featured a working Vox organ in the rear deck. These six b&w 8" x 10" photos (two have been trimmed down) feature some great shots of the car, including one taken during the construction phase. Each is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with mild curling. From the George Barris Archive.
