Collection of (15) Candids, Production Photos, and Portraits of Peter Lorre and Cast from The Man Who Knew Too Much (Gaumont, 1934). Vintage original (15) gelatin silver photographs including (3) 6.5" X 8.2" photos of Peter Lorre's wedding to actress Celia Lovsky at a Registrar's office in England because he couldn't take time off from filming The Man Who Knew Too Much to have a formal wedding, (4) 4.75" x 3.75" production photographs tipped to 8" x 10" cardstock, (1) photographic portrait of Leslie Banks ("Bob Lawrence"), signed by the actor, (7) production photos between takes, behind the scenes and posed portraits of actors including Peter Lorre, Nova Pilbeam ("Betty Lawrence"), Edna Best ("Jill Lawrence"), Frank Vosper ("Ramon Levine"), Leslie Banks ("Bob Lawrence") and more, and (1) 8" x 10" behind-the-scenes image of the garage shootout setup in a sound stage. All the wedding photos retain studio paper snipes and some production photos retain studio inkstamps on the versos. All exhibit age, handling, light soiling and edge wear.
