    Description

    An Edwina Booth Large Collection of Black and White Publicity Photographs by George Hurrell, Circa 1930s. Twenty-four total, all original prints with a semi-gloss finish, all depicting the delicate beauty in height-of-fashion frocks, all with Hurrell's blindstamp in the lower right corner, all with the versos stamped "Please Credit / Hurrell / M.G.M." and "Edwina Booth / Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer;" twelve with typed snipes glued to the verso outlining information about Booth's clothing; a rising young star during the advent of sound, Booth's career was sadly cut short when she contracted a debilitating case of malaria during the filming of the 1931 MGM film, "Trader Horn" in Africa. (Please note there are some duplicate images within the group.)
