A Norman Taurog Personally-Owned Collection of Likely Never-Before-Seen Black and White Stills from His Films, 1920s-1930s. Bound into a brown leather album, approximately 90, all original prints with either a glossy or matte finish, some with typed text on the verso explaining the scene, depicting both 'in front of the camera' and 'behind the scenes' images of actors (as well as other crew members and/or Taurog himself) on film sets from the silent era up to the late 1930s including (in alphabetical order): Fred Astaire, Maurice Chevalier, Jackie Cooper, Bing Crosby, Deanna Durbin, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Myrna Loy, Fred MacMurray, Herbert Marshall, Mickey Rooney, Franchot Tone, Spencer Tracy, and Loretta Young, among a number of others -- overall, a fantastic collection of rare images from Taurog's own files illustrating the great 'Golden Era' of filmmaking. (Please note the leather binder is in very poor condition, but the interior photographs are still in excellent condition.)
    Each Photograph: 8" x 10"; Binder: 8" x 11" x 2"
